Automation
Send the right email at the right moment, without pressing send: how flows work.
No. The editor is visual: you drag nodes, connect them with lines, and fill in each one's parameters with forms. If you want to integrate with your backend you can use the API and webhooks, but no code is needed for email automations.
The classics that perform best: welcome series, cart abandonment, re-engagement of inactive contacts, post-purchase, and lead nurturing by stage. Each one triggers on a behavior and is built once to run on its own.
Automations can trigger on entry into a segment (condition groups with AND / OR operators), which the engine evaluates in real time. So when someone meets the condition —left a cart, went 60 days without opening—, they enter the flow automatically.
Yes. You pause the flow and contacts stay at the last node they were on; when you reactivate it, they pick up from there. You can also manually remove specific contacts if needed.
By default the flow avoids re-enrolling a contact who already completed the sequence. You can change that behavior from the settings if your case requires it (for example, recurring reminders).
Transactional emails (receipts, confirmations) go out via the REST API v3: your system calls the endpoint with the contact's data and the template. The send is logged just like a campaign, with metrics and logs.
