Abuse Report Channel

Report abuse, spam, phishing, or any misuse of arrobaMail's services. Channel available 24×7, with human response during business hours and an AI agent after hours.

Updated June 20, 2026·Version 2.1

If you received an unsolicited email sent from our infrastructure, or you detect misuse of the platform, this is the right channel to report it. You can use the form at the bottom of this page or any of the channels detailed below.

1. What this channel is for

We provide this reporting channel so that anyone — a recipient, an authority, an investigator, or a third party — can report:

  • Unsolicited email (spam) sent from arrobaMail domains or IPs
  • Phishing or identity impersonation using our infrastructure
  • Fraudulent, illegal, or deceptive content sent through the Service
  • Harassment or hate speech distributed via Email Marketing
  • Intellectual property violations (DMCA / local equivalents)
  • Use of non-consented lists (purchased, scraped, or rented without opt-in)
  • Any other violation of our Anti-Spam Policy or Terms and Conditions

Every report is reviewed. The policy and its specific consequences are set out in the Anti-Spam Policy.

2. How to report

You have four channels available. Choose whichever suits your urgency and type of report.

2.1 Direct email

[email protected] or [email protected] (subject line: "Report").

Include in your message:

  • The email address where you received the message
  • The subject line of the reported message
  • Approximate date and time received
  • Full email headers (if you have them)
  • Screenshots or a copy of the content
  • Type of abuse perceived (spam, phishing, illegal content, etc.)

The more information you include, the faster we can act.

2.2 Business WhatsApp

+54 9 11 5655-0699 — human during business hours (Argentina, Mon-Fri 9am-7pm), AI agent after hours.

Useful if you need a quick response or aren't sure you have all the technical details.

2.3 Web form

You have the report form at the bottom of this page. Fill in what you have — type of abuse, the message you received, and, if you know them, details about the alleged sender — and submit it. You can do this anonymously. We process it through the same pipeline as direct email, sent to [email protected].

2.4 Enforcement authorities

If your report involves serious offenses (fraud, threats, distribution of illegal content) you can contact directly:

  • Argentina: Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública (AAIP) — [email protected]
  • Spain: Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD)
  • Brazil: Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados (ANPD)
  • Mexico: INAI

When we receive a formal request from a competent authority, we cooperate within the scope of applicable law.

3. What we do when we receive a report

3.1 Timeframes

  • Acknowledgment of receipt: within 24 business hours (human or automated), with a reference number for follow-up
  • Initial review: within 72 business hours
  • Corrective action: depending on severity, from minutes to 30 days

3.2 Review

Our abuse team reviews every report case by case. We verify:

  1. Whether the email was actually sent from our infrastructure
  2. The identity of the sending Client (the responsible account)
  3. Whether the send violates our policy or the terms
  4. Recurring patterns from the Client (prior reports, complaint rate, bounces)
  5. The Client's good faith (technical errors vs. deliberate abuse)

3.3 Possible actions

Depending on the outcome of the review, we may:

  • Notify the Client and request clarification / corrections
  • Temporarily suspend active campaigns
  • Clean up the Client's lists (remove addresses without verifiable consent)
  • Suspend the account partially or fully
  • Permanently cancel the account with no refund, in serious or repeat cases
  • Report to authorities when applicable

The specific actions are described in the Anti-Spam Policy, Penalties section.

4. Confidentiality of the reporter

We treat reports with reasonable confidentiality. Your identity is not shared with the reported Client, except when:

  • You explicitly authorize it
  • A competent authority requires it by formal order
  • It is strictly necessary for the review (uncommon)

You can report anonymously if you prefer. That may limit our ability to ask you for clarification, but it does not prevent us from reviewing the report.

5. Malicious or bad-faith reports

False, repetitive reports, or those used as a competitive tactic will not receive priority treatment. If we detect a pattern of malicious reporting, we reserve the right to:

  • Prioritize other reports, request additional information, or dismiss with grounds reports from the same source
  • Report the abusive behavior to the relevant authorities
  • Take legal action if applicable

6. How to unsubscribe from a list

If what you want is to stop receiving emails from a specific sender using arrobaMail, the fastest way is to:

  1. Click the "Unsubscribe" link that must appear at the bottom of the email. Under our policy, that link is mandatory.
  2. If the link doesn't work or doesn't appear, that is itself a violation — report it through the channels above.
  3. You can also mark the email as spam in your mail client (Gmail, Outlook, etc.). That signal reaches us via feedback loops and we process it automatically.

7. Applicable legal framework

Reports are processed within the framework of:

  • Argentina: Law 25,326 on the Protection of Personal Data and AAIP regulations
  • United States: CAN-SPAM Act
  • European Union: GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive
  • Brazil: LGPD
  • Mexico: Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data

When the reporter or the reported content falls under specific jurisdictions, we apply the corresponding regulations without prejudice to the Argentine law applicable to TECSID as the operating entity.

8. Changes to this channel

This document may be updated as we add new channels or change timeframes / procedures. Changes apply as of their publication.
